Yorkshire’s boys’ team has successfully defended the Northern Counties Boys’ League trophy with one match remaining.
The boys are undefeated so far in 2026 – retaining the trophy for a third consecutive year following an 11-4 win over Northumberland, an 8.5-6.5 away win over Durham, an 8-7 away win over Lancashire, and a 10.5-4.5 victory over Cheshire.
The boys’ final match against Cumbria is set for August 31, with the final match of the season – Northumberland against Durham – scheduled for September 20 as Durham chase second place in the table.
