The World team triumphed in the 32nd Phoenix Cup at Pine Valley Club in Ohio.
The World team, captained by Yorkshireman Graham Moore, won the event 14.5-9.5 as 40 people aged 17-75 with various disabilities competed in the Ryder/Solheim Cup format.
The World team also included vice-captain Jim Gales joined by coach Martin Lowe, vice-captain Peter Osborne with coach Cara Osborne, Colin MacLachlan, Steve Becala, Jim Hamill, Glen Jackson, Doug Penner with coach Steve Donaldson, Andy Sellars with coach Martin Sellars, Amanda Large with coach John Large, Derek Kibblewhite with coach Chris Chambers, Kevin Cassidy, Cristiano Berlanda, and Kevin McBride with coach Liz McBride.
