Tyneside-based professional James Wilson got his 2024 season off to a winning start at the North East & North West PGA’s Turkey Pro Am.
James led the field in the four-round event with an eight under-par total of 152 points (38-38-36-40) as Close House’s Alex Dixon finished second with 148 points. There were also good results for Jonathan Graham in solo-third, and Mark Ridley and Simon Robinson in a tie for fourth place.
Meanwhile, Mark led his team – Steve Wightman, Ian Johnson and Mark Turner – to victory with a 44 under-par total of 332 points.
Next up for the NE/NW PGA pros is the Kitwave Dundonald Link ProAm, before the six-event Pro Series begins on April 11 at Close House.
