Whitburn Golf Club’s 2025 captain, Tony Jager, has presented a cheque for £8,000 to Prostate Cancer UK following his year in office.
The fundraising took place over 12 months with support from Whitburn members and various sponsors. Events included the inaugural captains’ drive in at the club, and the captain’s charity day. Fourball vouchers for various clubs were also sold, while members supported an eclectic competition throughout the season.
“Thank you to all those who contributed and helped to raise funds for this charitable cause,” said Tony.
