West Nautical and Albatross Golfing Holidays & Events partnered up to host the Gleneagles Pairs – a two-day event at the former Ryder and Solheim cup venue.
Golfers from around the UK were part of the West Nautical-sponsored event, including Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer. Top prizes were on offer on the golf course, including two special hole-in-one prizes – an Omega watch from sponsors Berry’s Jewellers in Newcastle worth £9,500, and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 Roadster worth £40,000 courtesy of Aston Workshop in Beamish.
Paul Williams, client manager at West Nautical, said: “All the players loved the event and Gleneagles’ Kings and Queens courses. The atmosphere and food in the clubhouse and restaurants in the evenings were lovely as well. Thank you to Albatross for hosting us, as well as the sponsors and players who made this a great event.
