Wearside Golf Club’s junior team won the Durham County Golf Union Junior League following victory in the event’s round-robin finale.
Wearside lifted the trophy following victories over Blackwell Grange (6-4) and Durham City (8-2) in the round-robin format – with all three teams securing their place in the finals having topped their regional groups.
This year’s Wearside team featured Oliver Ridley, Callum Whyte, Sonny Bate, Charlie Hancill, Josh Willey, Willow Hixon, Oscar O’Connor, Alex Gordon and Harry Sheen.
