Waterfront’s men’s team topped the leaderboard in the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs’ Sixth Division Team Championship as the leading seven clubs earned a place in the next round.
Waterfront’s Louis Salkeld (73), Frankie Houlgate (76) and Ethan Clark (80) led the way with a 13 over-par total. They led the field by seven shots as Bradley Park finished second – and will be joined in the Fifth Division Team Championship at Brough on May 20 by Shipley, Sandburn Hall, Kirkbymoorside, Normanton and Heworth as well as the 14 teams already qualified for the next round from the 2025 event.
