UpSwing Golf has launched its innovative junior golf equipment system in the UK – introducing a premium, performance-driven solution designed specifically for young golfers.
Built to evolve with the player, UpSwing Golf offers young golfers and parents long-term value and technical innovation.
Developed by industry experts Justin Giles and Kevin Mayoux, UpSwing Golf was born out of a simple but widespread frustration: junior golfers quickly outgrow their equipment, forcing parents into repeated purchases of short-term solutions. The result of their collaboration is a fundamentally different approach that supports player development while reducing long-term cost.
At the core of the range is the patented UpTech Golf System, a modular platform that allows clubs to grow with the player. Longer shafts are introduced as the child grows, ensuring the club keeps pace with their development while preserving correct fit and optimised swing weight.
The range has been engineered from the ground up to bridge the gap between entry-level junior sets and performance equipment.
Key product features include age-matched recommendations, a complete equipment platform that evolves with the player; the patented hosel adaptor and global mass property system, which shifts clubhead weighting from heel to toe as the junior develops, promoting improved swing mechanics and more efficient ball striking over time; premium components and finishes; UST Mamiya graphite shafts; and advanced head designs featuring peripheral weighting, optimized centre of gravity positions, and a durable PVD finish.
Justin conceived the concept while searching for better equipment for his son, frustrated by the limitations of traditional junior sets. He partnered with Kevin, a mechanical engineer and club design specialist who has designed more than 20 clubs that have won on professional tours worldwide.
The range is available in three configurations – the four-club Junior Set (RRP £449), the seven-club Junior Varsity Set (RRP £649), and the 11-club Varsity Set (RRP £899). There are also upgrade kits and shaft upgrades in between set sizes to ensure all golfers’ needs are met.
