The British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) is gearing up to welcome the golf community to the Harrogate Convention Centre for BTME – the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition – which takes place January 21-23.
Europe’s largest greenkeeping event, BTME offers a unique blend of education, innovation and celebration for everyone involved in the sport.
Insights into golf’s biggest events
Among the highlights this year is a fascinating talk on The 152nd Open and the AIG Women’s Open, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how these world-class tournaments are delivered. It’s a chance for club golfers, greenkeepers and managers to gain exclusive insight into what makes these events so iconic.
Celebrating excellence
BTME 2025 kicks off in style at the BIGGA Celebration with Kress, hosted by Sky Sports presenter Sarah Stirk. Taking place in Harrogate’s stunning Royal Hall, this event shines a spotlight on the incredible work of BIGGA members while celebrating innovation and excellence across the industry.
Greenkeeper education
A cornerstone of BTME is the Continue to Learn programme, which provides learning opportunities for greenkeeping teams of every size and level. Affordable – and an expanded programme of cost-free – learning opportunities aim to give greenkeeping teams the tools to create better playing surfaces all year round.
Unmissable experiences for club golfers and managers
BTME isn’t just for greenkeepers – it’s a hub for the entire golf industry. Attendees can explore the latest innovations in turf management, check out cutting-edge robotic mowers and connect with likeminded professionals in dedicated areas like the Sustainability Zone and Education Hub. For some light-hearted fun, you can also take on the Monster Putt Challenge and raise funds for the BIGGA Greenkeepers Benevolent Fund. There’s also the opportunity to meet with some of the most influential bodies in golf. Joining BIGGA and more than 100 exhibitors will be representatives from The R&A, England Golf, the Golf Club Managers Association, the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, and many others.
