Castle Eden Golf Club-based Thomas Rowland topped the leaderboard in the North East & North West PGA’s pro am at Hartlepool Golf Club.
Thomas led the field with a two under-par score of 38 points as three players – Libby Bell (Bedlingtonshire), David Clark (Morpeth) and Mark Ridley (Consett & District) – finished one shot back in a tie for second place.
In the team event, amateurs Billy Fiddes, Patrick Ward and Graeme Gow teamed up with professional Paul Fiddes to lead the way with a 16 under-par score of 88 points.
