MacGregor has launched a pair of package sets for new golfers looking for an affordable first step into the game.
The CG3000 Package Set (full set SRP £369, half set SRP £249) offers the option of steel or graphite shafts in the irons and a choice of stand or cart bag. A 13° Ti-Matrix driver features optimal weighting for an easy launch off the tee, while low profile fairway wood and hybrids are designed for maximum playability. A 6-SW ser of irons and mallet-style putter complete the set, which is available in right- or left-hand options.
The DCT3000 package (stand bag SRP £469, cart bag £479) also comes with a cart or stand bag option. The set features a 10.5° titanium driver with high-MOI design for increased stability at impact and an expanded sweet spot for greater forgiveness on off-centre hits. High-MOI fairway wood and two hybrids are paired with a 5-SW set of irons featuring an oversized head design and perimeter weighting for stability and forgiveness, and a mallet putter. A choice of steel or graphite-shafted irons and left-hand options are available.
