TaylorMade introduces SYSTM2 putters

TaylorMade has announced the launch of its SYSTM2 putters – a line of premium milled putters designed to deliver exceptional feel, predictable roll, and consistent all-around performance.

The lineup includes blade and mallet models combining traditional shaping with modern manufacturing precision.

At the heart of each SYSTM2 putter (RRP £219) is a precision-milled face engineered for consistent performance. The entire face is fly-cut, then scored with a saw-cutter to create grooves at a specific depth optimised for superior feel.

The putters also utilise Metal Injection Molding technology to achieve optimal weight distribution and performance characteristics. This process allows engineers to remove mass from behind the face and move it toward the toe and heel for enhanced stability at impact.

TaylorMade chose soft 304 stainless-steel for the SYSTM2 putters to deliver responsive feel. Unlike harder alloys, 304 stainless-steel provides a softer, more satisfying sensation at impact that promotes better distance control and enhanced feedback. The material also allows for precise machining tolerances, ensuring that each SYSTM2 putter meets exacting specifications.

Meanwhile, the two-tone finish enhances alignment and performance. The satin scratch silver front contrasts with the black PVD back, creating clear visual separation that helps golfers frame the ball at address and maintain proper alignment throughout their stroke. The satin scratch silver front also features a hydro-blasted finish engineered for long-term durability.

TaylorMade has engineered the line with hosel configurations to match individual preferences. The L-Neck design creates toe hang, meaning the toe of the putter wants to rotate closed through the stroke, as players with an arcing putting stroke would require. In contrast, the single bend hosel creates a face-balanced design where the face stays square throughout the stroke with minimal rotation – a setup suited to golfers with a straight-back, straight-through stroke.

The SYSTM2 family offers a comprehensive range of heads to match stroke styles and visual preferences.

The blade models include Soto, which has soft, flowing lines with rounded bumpers for a classic profile; Juno with its more squared back bumpers for golfers who prefer defined edges; and Del Monte, TaylorMade’s wide-body blade option with an extended back that delivers a deeper centre of gravity location and higher moment of inertia for enhanced stability and forgiveness. All blade models are offered in both an L-Neck (43° toe hang) and Short Curve (55° toe hang) hosel configuration.

The range also includes two traditional mid-mallet options, both with two hosel configurations – Bandon and Ardmore.
