US-based brand Sugar Golf has been causing quite a stir with their direct-to-consumer golf ball offering.
The three-piece urethane golf balls – the Sugar G1 and Sugar Pure – both feature a reassuringly soft cover and are manufactured in the same factories as many of the big brands. Shipped in simple packaging – and a unique cube-shaped format – the ball stands up to higher priced offerings from many of the bigger brands. Distributed by EGN Golf in the UK, 27-ball cubes are £71.99 (Pure) or £64.99 (G1), while eight-ball trial packs of the Pure ball are £19.99.
