If you’re struggling to find the right sequence, tempo, balance or weight shift in your golf swing – here’s the drill for you.
Set up to the golf ball with your feet together. As you start your backswing and the club goes up, take a step away from the target with your back foot. As you reach the top of your backswing, lift your front foot up, then, as you make your transition, stamp your front foot back into position and swing through. This is a great drill to exaggerate the weight shift in the swing and sync up the movement of your body and the club.
