Slaley Hall team wins the Hadrian Two Tynes League

Slaley Hall’s men’s team lifted the Hadrian Two Tynes League trophy following the second year of the inter-club tournament.

Launched in 2025, this year’s league saw eight clubs compete for the title, with teams consisting of players with handicaps ranging from 4.0-12.0. Team captains work together to ensure, as far as possible, that players of a similar handicap will be playing against each other. Where there is a difference in handicaps, an allowance of 75% of the difference in the course handicap is applied for the matches.

Slaley’s team topped the standings with 62 points from their seven matches, as Stocksfield finished 15 points back in second place, and Tyneside finished third with 44 points.
