Shot Scope has added a new feature to its X5 watch, with hole maps now available to players so they can overlay their individual data on every hole – turning the X5 watch into a comprehensive course guide on your wrist.
“The addition of hole maps to the X5 is something existing users can really make use of, seeing how the bank of statistics they’ve already collected can be used to inform their round as they take on each hole,” said Shot Scope CEO David Hunter. “As a free upgrade and with no subscription fees, these map features further validate Shot Scope’s power in connecting data and golfers as we continue to redefine the GPS watch category.”
The full-colour touchscreen display on the X5 uses personalised data to access Performance-Average distances for a golfer’s three longest clubs – allowing them to make an informed decision off the tee. The zoom map and target line features can be utilised to find the perfect line off the tee, reducing the impact of blind tee shots and providing data that a laser rangefinder by itself cannot.
