Seed Golf unveils fastest ball to-date

Seed Golf has unveiled its fastest ever ball with the launch of the second-generation of the SD-X1.

Optimised for a lower spin and ball flight, the new ball (RRP £25 per dozen) surpassed The R&A’s limits on speed during testing, forcing Seed to dial it back before it could be released.

“We want there to be a Seed ball that is the perfect fit for everyone, and that includes those players who work their way towards single figures or better,” said Seed founder and CEO Dean Klatt. “With the new SD-X1 we feel we’ve found that formula and improved on the original – this is our answer to the Pro V1 in many ways. We’ve been receiving rave early reviews about the SD-X1, including from some influential YouTubers, so we’re very excited for our Seed family to experience this game-changing, boundary-pushing ballers’ ball.”

The new 332-dimple design features a three-piece construction with cast urethane cover, high compression High Energy Rubber Core (EngCore), and an HPF mantle for optimised driver spin and increased carry distance.
