Apparel brand Abacus Sportswear has launched its 2024 spring/summer collection, featuring a range of high-performance outerwear designed to enable golfers to play and look their best when the weather turns warmer.
Featuring a range of technical garments that offer comfort and style, the Swedish brand’s latest collection includes game-enhancing material technologies including Drycool, which is geared to keeping golfers dry and comfortable in even the warmest conditions. Fabric in the garment is treated to encourage the movement of water from inside to outside, where it can evaporate to keep the wearer dry and comfortable when the temperature rises.
Drycool features in a number of products throughout the men’s and women’s ranges, including in the Drycool Polos. The men’s Wickham Drycool Polo (RRP £63.90) features a palm tree printed pattern in two colours, while the Marco polo (RRP £59.90) features bold contrasting-coloured stripes across the chest.
From the women’s collection, the Simone cupsleeve (RRP £59.90) and sleeveless (RRP £49.90) shirts have the addition of a breathable mesh back which enhances the effect of the Drycool material.
Meanwhile, the men’s and women’s Kildare shorts (RRP £89.90) are made of a thin, woven polyester/spandex material with four-way stretch and Drycool. For those who prefer skorts, there’s the Juliet (RRP £73.90) and the Kildare (RRP £89.90) skorts, which are both available in 45cm and 50cm lengths, contain four-way stretch with Drycool, and have breathable and wicking properties.
Finally, the men’s and women’s chino-style Kildare trousers (RRP £99.90) are made of thin polyester material with four-way stretch and Drycool. Kildare capri pants are also available in peony and navy.
