Ram launches FXT irons

Ram Golf has launched its new FXT irons – aimed at golfers looking for a player’s-style iron, increased yardage and great feel.

The irons (RRP from £299.99) feature a dual-material face – maraging a 431 stainless steel body with a 17-4 super-hot stainless-steel face – while a heat-treated hot muscleback design delivers a forged-like effect.

Design enhancements include a new lower centre of gravity, which provides improved stability and even more forgiveness on off-centre strikes, and a precision weighted side screw in the toe which has been optimised to help raise the club’s MOI and reduce the impact of twisting on off-centre strikes.

Offered in anodised black or chrome satin finishes, the irons are available with a choice of aftermarket shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips. Golfers can also choose how many clubs they prefer to have in the set, with a range of options available online – 5-PW, 5-GW, 4-PW and 4-GW in right-handed and 5-PW in left-handed.
