PING has introduced its latest series of putters – Sigma 2 – featuring multi-layer face technology along with new adjustable-length shaft technology. Available in 10 head options including the new Fetch model that is designed with a golf-ball-pickup feature, the new putters feature an innovative dual-durometer PEBAX face material, which brings together a softer front layer ensuring the precision necessary for shorter, delicate must-makes with a firmer back layer for solid feedback and distance control. Touch and pace are further improved with PING’s TR face pattern, which varies in depth and pitch to speed up off-centre impacts for consistent ball speeds. The new line also features an adjustable shaft, which can be customised to lengths between 32-36ins in ¼ins increments. Head options include Anser, the model with the most wins in PGA Tour history, among the 10 blade, mid-mallet and mallet options.
