Prudhoe Golf Club’s Dean and Bryan Glendinning teamed up to win the first event of the Hadrian Golf League season – the Colin Mussett Anniversary Cup – at Ponteland Golf Club.
The father and son team led the field in the pre-season get-together for club captains and vice-captains with a fourball betterball stableford score of 47 points.
Slaley Hall – represented by Ian Curry and Richard Bridges – finished second with 42 points as Tyneside’s Paul Wilson and Ian Thompson finished third with 40 points.
