Leading professionals and amateurs from across the region will tee it up in Final Qualifying for the 154th Open having progressed through Regional Qualifying.
More than 2,100 players competed at 16 venues across Great Britain and Ireland for a place in Final Qualifying.
At Fulford, Moortown-based amateur Oliver Cage led the field with a five under-par round of 67. He progressed to Final Qualifying alongside Richard Law (Normanton), Will Swarbrick (Moortown), Lucas Marrin (Rotherham), Gordon Brixi (Reflection Bay), Will Whiteoak (Bingley St Ives), Marcus Brigham (Malton & Norton) and Ben Hutchinson (Howley Hall).
At Lindrick, Sam Potter (Kedleston Park) topped the leaderboard with a four under-par score as Ben Hall (Rushcliffe), George Mason (Wath), Sam Rook (Lindrick), Josh Mcaspurn (Crosland Heath), Keir Stockdale (Lindrick), James Whatley (East Midlands Golf Academy) and Nicholas Raybould (Hull) progressed.
Regional qualifying took place at Bearwood Lakes, Caldy, Chart Hills, Craigielaw, Enville, Ferndown, Fulford, Gog Magog, Hesketh, Kilmarnock (Barassie), Lindrick, Minchinhampton, Moor Park, North Hants, Rochester & Cobham Park and The Island. For full results from each venue, click here.
The players who made it through the 18 holes of Regional Qualifying will join those who are exempt into Final Qualifying to compete over 36 holes on Tuesday June 30 at Burnham & Berrow, Dundonald, Royal Cinque Ports and West Lancashire. The leading players at each venue will then join the field for The Open, which takes place at Royal Birkdale on July 16-19.
