City of Newcastle’s Phil Ridden topped the leaderboard in the Newcastle & District Golf League’s Players Championship at his home club.
Phil led the individual field with a six under-par round of 66 as the Arcot Hall team – featuring Paul Caldicott, Dan Bullen and Steven Ashley – took home the team title with a four under-par total, and Tyneside’s Andrew Shaw won the individual nett title with a round of 67.
