More than 200 golfers took part in the first Northumberland 27 event – hosted by Alnmouth Village, Warkworth and Wooler golf clubs on June 24.
The event was won by Michael Storey and Keith Ormond with a fourball betterball score of 64 points. Les Johnson and Eric Laidler finished second, two points back – beating David Coates and Simon Williams on countback.
Created by the three nine-hole courses in north Northumberland, players from across the region and beyond took on the coastal links of the Village and Warkworth, and the spectacular hillside loop at Wooler throughout the day.
The event will return on Monday June 23, 2025.
