The final of this year’s Northern Golfer Match Play Pairs will take place at Tyneside Golf Club in October – with 2023 winners John Matthews and Raymond Pipe (Barnard Castle) set to face Allendale’s Neil Forsyth and Peter Robson.
The final two pairs in this year’s tournament will face off with top prizes on the line – including a place in Albatross Golf Holidays & Events’ Turnberry or Portuguese Pairs events in 2025, £600 in vouchers, and a place in the region’s golfing history books.
The 23rd Match Play Pairs event has seen pairs of golfers from across the region compete in fourball betterball knock-out matches throughout the season.
