Northern Golfer #117 (Feb/Mar 26) out now

The Feb/Mar 26 edition of Northern Golfer is available in golf clubs and retailers across the region now

It may only be February but given the positive stories which are packed into our first edition of 2026, our hopes are high for the golfing year ahead.

Charlotte Naughton picked up where she left off last season as she won her first event of the year – the Junior Orange Bowl in Florida in January. Charlotte’s performances over the last 12 months have been nothing short of remarkable, with three international wins, a string of other top 10s, and strong team results. We catch up with her in our cover interview to get her thoughts on travelling the world and winning at the age of just 17.

Meanwhile, Jess Baker gave us a positive story of her own at the end of 2025 as she gained status on the Ladies European Tour for a second time through Q School. Jess reflects on the year and the two weeks in Morocco in Teeing Off – while Rosie Belsham looks back at her first year out on tour in her Pro Life column.

Elsewhere in the Feb/Mar edition, Chris Paisley is continuing to develop his career in coaching; Sean Russell shares a story from Q School in Caddy Corner; Simon Olver looks back at a fantastic week at Ganton; and Chris Kirkland is back with his second Mind Game column. There’s also Fitness with Shawn O’Neil, the 19th Hole, and Tips to enjoy.

Match Play Pairs is back too – celebrating its 25th year – and we have another fantastic prize package thanks to our partnership with Albatross Golf Holidays & Events.

Add in our 2026 diary, a Course Profile at Castle Eden Golf Club, Special Focus features on Yorkshire and places to stay and play, seven pages of new gear, and the chance to win rounds at Castle Eden and Selby as well as a place in the North Northumberland 27 – and there’s a lot to enjoy as we count down to the start of the golf season across our region.
