Northern Golfer 115 out now

Northern Golfer #115 (Oct/Nov 25) out now

The Oct/Nov 2025 edition of Northern Golfer is available in golf clubs and retailers across the region now

The 2025 Ryder Cup is in the record books, the final events of the season are over, and the busiest edition of Northern Golfer of the year is here – packed with stories of international, national, regional and local success.

We brought the season to a close at Longhirst Hall with the Northern Golfer Champion of Champions and our three winners – Jessica Dorritt, who successfully defended the women’s title; Adam Reay, who won the men’s event; and Cameron Ferguson, who was crowned Junior Champion of Champions – star on the front cover of this edition.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Naughton won the biggest event of her career to-date as she was crowned girls’ world champion in Canada. The win came just a couple of days before she represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup, and added to her runner-up finish in the Girls’ Amateur this summer.

We also have two new national champions from the North East to celebrate with following James Glenn and Sandy Twynholm’s wins in the England Golf men’s and senior men’s County Champion of Champions events.

Teeing Off is filled with lots more success stories from events and clubs across the region, while all our columnists are in fine form once again. In particular, Chris Paisley’s Tour Life column is a must-read as he brings his 2025 season to a close and sets out his plans for the future.

We also have a visit to Blackwell Grange for the Course Profile, and a catch up with Jess Baker in A Round With. There’s also another busy Gear section with lots of autumn/winter apparel and new tech to check out, plus two Special Focus features – a trip west to Cumbria and details of ranges and indoor studios to visit to work on your game in the coming months.

Add in three fantastic competitions and there’s a lot to enjoy in this edition.
