The February/March 2025 edition of Northern Golfer is available in golf clubs and retailers across the region now
The countdown to the 2025 golf season is underway, and it’s shaping up to be a big one for our region’s clubs and golfers across the amateur and professional games – as you’ll read in our first edition of 2025.
In the professional ranks, there’s a lot to look out for – starting with this edition’s cover star, Jess Baker, who will be splitting her time between the Ladies European Tour and Access Series this season.
Meanwhile, 2025 is also going to be an exciting year for Rosie Belsham – both on tour and in the pages of Northern Golfer as our newest columnist.
On the men’s professional side, Callum Tarren updates us from the Middle East as he begins his first season as a member of the DP World Tour after three years on the PGA Tour.
There’s a lot more to enjoy in this edition too – including another superb Tour Life column from Chris Paisley, an inside look at Jess’ work last season from her caddy Sean Russell in Tour Tips, project updates from Simon Olver in On Course, and more Fitness advice from Shawn O’Neil.
For those planning ahead, our 2025 diary will be an invaluable resource – and there are a lot of highlights to look forward to throughout the year. We also have two Course Profiles in this edition – as we visit Knaresborough and Roseberry Grange. We also have a Special Focus on places to stay and play.
Add in the launch of this year’s Match Play Pairs, which once again offers the chance to win a spot in an Albatross Golf Holidays & Events tournament along with £600 in prize vouchers; six pages of the latest gear; a visit to the Inn Collection Group’s Tynemouth Castle Inn; and the chance to win Abacus clothing, a spot in the North Northumberland 27 event, and a fourball for Knaresborough – and there’s plenty to keep you busy as we count down the days to the start of the season.
