Motocaddy has launched the PRO 5000 laser rangefinder – which promises quick, accurate and effortless distance measurement thanks to cutting-edge technology.
Available exclusively through the brand’s website, the PRO 5000 laser (RRP 179.99) features PinLock technology with slope compensation, and accuracy to within one yard. It has a range of up to 1,500 yards – including 350 yards to the flag – with an OLED display ensuring visibility in all lighting conditions.
There is also six-times magnification, in-built target scanning and background noise reduction technologies, and a rechargeable Li-Ion battery with USB-C charging.
The PRO 5000 laser also has a precise slope-compensation algorithm that provides elevation-adjusted distances. Slope mode can be disabled to make the device competition legal when required.
The Pin Lock function gives both vibration and visual confirmation when the target is acquired, while the automatic standby mode improves battery efficiency, and the adjustable eyepiece allows golfers to finetune focus.
There is also a hard-shell carry case featuring a bag clip and quick-release mechanism as well as a built-in magnetic cart mount – while compatibility with the brand’s Accessory Station ensures convenient access for Motocaddy trolley users. A IPX5 water-resistance rating ensures reliable use in any weather, and the laser comes with a 24-month warranty.
