Morpeth’s junior team beat local rivals Longhirst Hall to win The Northumbria Junior Golf League.
With the six-strong teams progressing to the afternoon final with strong wins in their morning matches with Hexham and Whitley Bay at Longhirst, the Morpeth team came out on top in an incredibly close final – with the result determined by holes up after the matches were tied 3-3.
