Link Golf UK has taken over the management of Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Centre – adding the Teesside venue to the portfolio of golf clubs it runs.
The new operator has already announced plans to develop the facility – which is home to an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse and 20-bay driving range. The plans include the installation of TrackMan Range technology, a full refurbishment of the driving range, and the creation of a new driving range bar area.
Andrew Terry, director and founder of Link Golf UK, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be appointed as the new operator of Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Centre. The golf course and its facilities are already fantastic and we look forward to building on this strong foundation. Our vision is to deliver affordable, accessible golf to the people of Middlesbrough while enhancing the facilities to create a first-class golfing destination. With the planned investment and the introduction of TrackMan Range technology, we’re excited to bring a new level of experience to both existing golfers and those new to the game.”
Link Golf UK was established in 2019 and its venues include Stanley Park Golf Course in Blackpool, Marland Golf Course in Rochdale, Heaton Park Golf Course in Manchester, Tapton Park Golf Course in Chesterfield and Derby Golf Course in Derby – plus the Little Links Golf par three course in Lytham St Annes.
