Michael Skelton topped the leaderboard in the Kitwave Pro Am at Rockliffe Hall as the annual charity event with the North East & North West PGA raised £20,000 for St Oswald’s Hospice.
Seaton Carew-based Michael led the professionals with a two under-par round as David Clark finished two shots back in second place and four players – Steven Harrison, John Harrison, Ross Crowe and Darren Crowle – finished a shot further back in a tie for third.
The team event was won by Budweiser Brewing Group – with amateurs Callum Russell, Liam Brown and Kurt Hope teaming up with professional Darren Crowle to lead the way with a 14 under-par score of 86 stableford points.
