Westerhope-based Michael Nesbit led the field in the North East & North West PGA’s Hadrian Healthcare-sponsored pro am at Whickham Golf Club.
Michael led the field with a four under-par score of 40 points as John Harrison and James Wilson finished two shots back in a tie for second place, and Paul Fiddes and Cameron Pipe tied for fourth place.
In the team event, professional Jamie Herdman teamed up with amateurs Rachel Cooper, Allison Stone and Andrew Lockwood to top the leaderboard with a 21 under-par score of 93 points.
