Michael Henson topped the leaderboard in this year’s Chester Bowl at Chester-le-Street Golf Club.
Bishop Auckland-based Michael led the field in the Durham Order of Merit event with a two under-par round of 69 as six players – Richard Lee (Durham City), Alex Robinson (Durham City), Luke Bonser (Consett & District), Martin McCririck (South Shields), Phil Ridden (City of Newcastle) and Jonathan Egglestone (Chester-le-Street) – finished two shots back with level-par scores.
