Junior golfer to play 54 holes to raise money for two local charities

Joseph Newby is stepping up to play in a charity golf challenge to raise money for two local charities.

Twelve-year-old Joseph, from Sunderland, has a handicap of 12 and will be taking on the 54-hole challenge on May 26 at Boldon Golf Club in aid of James’ Place – a men’s mental health charity – and the Chloe & Liam Together Forever Trust – which has supported Joseph with bursaries in recent years.
