Alnmouth Village-based James Wilson added another win to his 2026 collection on the North East & North West PGA circuit as he led the field in the TMP Wealth Management-sponsored Close House pro am.
James topped the 25-player leaderboard with 40 points as Kevin Jackson and Mark Ridley finished three shots back in a tie for second place. Three players – Graeme Bell, George Cowan and Jonathan Graham – tied for fourth place with 35 points.
In the team event, amateurs Mark Heward, Tony Shiel and Paul Oliver teamed up with professional Darren Crowle to lead the way with a 17-under par score of 89 points.
