Alnmouth Village-based James Wilson picked up another win on the North East & North West PGA circuit as he led the field in the Tom Flowers Memorial Pro Am at Ramside Hall.
James topped the 21-player leaderboard with a five under-par score of 41 points as three players – David Clark, Craig Goodfellow and Martin Forster – finished two shots back in a tie for second place.
In the team event, amateurs Malcom Grier, Craig Friedrichsen and Eltje Zeemering teamed up with Close House-based professional Simon Robinson to win with a 15 under-par score of 87 points.
As part of the event, the association raised £2,700 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
