James Trant became the latest winner in this year’s Yorkshire Order of Merit as he topped the leaderboard in the Chevin Trophy at Otley Golf Club.
Wetherby-based James led the field with back-to-back rounds of 69 for a two under-par total and a four-shot win over Max Berrisford (Ilkley). Steven Bridges (Hickleton) finished one shot further back in third place.
