James Rogers topped the leaderboard at his home club to lift the Northern Golf Masters trophy.
James led the field in the 36-hole scratch event at Rockliffe Hall, which is part of the Durham and Yorkshire orders of merit, with a one under-par total after shooting rounds of 71 and 72. Jake Benson (JCB Golf & Country Club) and Even Oliver (Wearside) finished one shot back in second place, while Dominic Moon (Seaton Carew) finished fourth on one over-par.
The tournament was played on Father’s Day and James shared the victory with his father Mark (head professional at York Golf Club), who was caddying for him.
