James Maw topped the leaderboard in the first Pro Series event of the 2025 North East & North West PGA season.
Seaton Carew-based James jumped to the top of the Titleist Order of Merit with a three under-par round of 69 – including an eagle two on the par four 18th.
Mark Ridley finished one shot back in second place as four players – David Clark, Jonathan Graham, John Harrison and Simon Robinson – finished in a tie for third.
Next up in the order of merit is the second Pro Series event at Hartlepool, which takes place on Monday March 24.
