James Maw returned to top form as he shot eight under-par to win the North East & North East PGA’s Middlesbrough Golf Club pro am.
Rockliffe Hall-based James led the way with his round of 62 as Seaton Carew-based Michael Skelton finished second on three under-par, and John Lines and Kyle Marklew shared third place on two under-par.
In the team event, amateurs Gary Mirfin, Paul Harris and Scott Lester teamed up with professional Graeme Bell to win with a 17 under-par score of 89 points.
