Wynyard-based professional James Harper had a fantastic end to the North East & North West PGA’s tournament season – adding the Matchplay Championship to his win in the Heineken Dunstanburgh Classic.
In the two weeks following his win at Dunstanburgh, James came through four matches to win the circuit’s season-ending Matchplay Championship – beating Tyneside’s James Wilson on the 18th at Slaley Hall in the final.
Next up on the NE/NW PGA circuit are the Carnoustie and Portugal pro ams in October and November respectively.
