James Freeman topped the leaderboard in the Pannal Golf Club Pro Am – part of this season’s PGA in Yorkshire schedule – with a five under-par round of 67.
Rotherham-based James led the way as four players – Gareth Davies (Abbeydale), Richard Pace (Hornsea), Luke Bell (Burstwick Country Golf) and Christian Thornton (Low Laithes) – finished one shot back in a tie for second place.
