Boldon-based husband and wife Mick Turner and Christine Smith recorded their first holes-in-one within seven days of one another on the par three third hole at their home club.
Mick, who plays off a handicap of 27, was first to make an ace on Sunday June 9. Playing off the yellow tees, he hit a seven-iron to make his hole-in-one.
Chris, who has a handicap of 11.7, made her ace during the club’s PING 4BBB competition on June 15 on the same hole – playing off the red tees and hitting a nine-iron.
