Ilkley’s Huey Cunningham lifted the Bradford Open trophy for a second year in a row following his victory at Shipley.
Huey, who won the event at Keighley last season, led the field with rounds of 71 and 66 for a five under-par total as Oliver Young (Northcliffe) finished one shot back in second place.
“I had a fantastic game playing with Oliver, who was edging me out until the putts started dropping on the back nine,” said Huey. “I was just one shot ahead on the 18th so it was quite tense, but I was really pleased to match Oliver’s birdie on the last to retain my lead and win the tournament.”
