Harry Lord led a field of 59 players in the 2020protour’s second Winter Series pro am at Huddersfield Golf Club – shooting a 10 under-par round of 60, including an eagle at the last.
Harry topped the leaderboard and earned the £900 winner’s cheque as Connor Stoyell finished second on eight under-par. Amateur Ben Brown tied for third place alongside Nick Marsh on six under-par – as 15 professionals and elite amateurs broke par in freezing conditions.
In the pro am event, Harry and his partner Peter Lord took top spot with 48 points.
Next up in the 2020protour Winter Series is the Selby Pro Am on Monday March 3.
Meanwhile, the tour has announced that the leading player in this year’s Headline Events Order of Merit will earn a start on the HotelPlanner Tour (formerly the Challenge Tour). The top ranked player will tee it up in the Irish Challenge at The K Club on August 7-10.
