After a season of events around the district, the winners of the 2024 Halifax, Huddersfield and District Union of Golf Clubs’ Junior Order of Merit have been crowned.
The Junior Order of Merit nett prize went to Woodsome Hall’s Harriet Kendal, while the nine-hole stableford points race was won by Dewsbury’s Jacob Smethurst.
Launched in 2015, the Junior Order of Merit now includes 12 events across the district – with players competing in 18-hole strokeplay or nine-hole stableford events for individual prizes at tournaments as well as points for the season-long order of merit.
