Huddersfield’s Habib Khan lifted the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs’ Matchplay Championship trophy at Crosland Heath – as Frank Greaves won the Seniors’ Matchplay Championship.
Habib, who finished in a tie for second place in this year’s Yorkshire Amateur at Cleveland, came through four rounds of matches to lift the trophy – including a win on the 19th hole against Cookridge Hall’s Bailey Hird in the final.
Meanwhile, Frank lifted the seniors’ trophy following three rounds of matches – including a 4&2 win over Warren Lockett in the final.
