England Golf has launched a new national competition for 2026 – the Titleist Women’s Four-Ball.
The new tournament will provide more opportunities for women and girls to play team golf, with a chance to progress to a national final.
Open to all clubs affiliated to England Golf, the competition invites clubs to run their own women’s fourball stableford qualifier and submit their winning pair by Wednesday July 8.
The pair returning the highest number of stableford points in each club qualifier will go forward as that club’s official entry. The cost to enter a winning pair is £10.
In keeping with England Golf’s commitment to accessibility and opportunity, the national governing body is inviting clubs who enter to make a recommended donation of £5 per pair from all those taking part in the club qualifying round to the England Golf Trust. All contributions will support the charity’s work in providing opportunities for young people to continue to play and progress in golf.
From the nationwide pool of club winners, the seven highest-scoring pairs from each of the four handicap divisions will earn a place in the national final, which will be held on the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa on Wednesday August 12.
In addition, all unsuccessful entries will be entered into a ballot. One pair from each of the four handicap divisions will be randomly drawn and given a wild card place in the national final. A total of 64 finalists will then compete for the national honours.
England Golf partner and tournament sponsor Titleist will present every finalist with a special prize to mark their achievement. Additional Titleist prizes will be awarded to the top three pairs at the national final.
