The Blue Lamp Foundation, the charity that supports emergency service personnel who are injured in the line of duty, will host its 13th annual golf day at Tyneside Golf Club on July 6.
Players will compete for the David Rathband Trophy – named in honour of the charity’s founder PC David Rathband – with places available for individuals or teams to take part.
The cost per player is £45 and includes a breakfast roll and hot drink before the round, and a two-course meal and prize giving at the end of the day. All proceeds from the event will go to support police, fire and ambulance service personnel who have been injured in the line of duty.
